Weather or Not!

I have to agree with Walleye, as I also like semi cool weather.
I slept thru the storm we had here.

80 = "semi cool" ???

It's hot and humid...but we get rain almost 3 times a week. The James River is startin got reisde a bit. You North Dakota guys sent us a lot of water!

But, the corn is just exploding the last few days. It was grown 3 or 4 feet in 7 or 8 days. The birds are just everywhere. Pheasants, ducks, doves...it is a good thing.

I turned off the heat in March and opened the windows. The windows are still open and I haven't run the air-conditioning. It's all good.

Lol...semi-cool. I poured concrete for grain binds in Minnesota in 108 degrees. I have built houses in Colorado on the divide in 110 heat. I have fished in every kind of heat or coldness you can imagine... 80"s is semi-cool.

Even after all the years living in TX heat and humidity I never could get used to it. I am uncomfortable at anything over about 75.

I was thinking about that when I wrote my post. You were living in the real heat.

I hate the humidity. It is still about 70 degrees right now. A littler cooler in the wee hours is nice.

I like the heat....just not the humidity. We only really have to deal with high humidity for about 2 1/2 months a year and that is okay with me. We are getting our rains now and this week I haven't been able to walk at night after work. I tried this morning before the sun came up and only got half way through when the sun started beating down so I cut it short. Its supposed to be about 106 today...they had predicted 110-112 but changed it. Its about 1130am and it already is about 95

Great day yesterday as the temps were comfortable to be out and about yesterday. Sounds like the same again today, but storms tonight. The rest of the country looks like it is in a hot wave, but it is cooler than normal here.

Hot and humid! Its so humid....we were trying to cut carboard yesterday for packing and wrapping and it was like cutting a wet sponge! That stuff just seemed to soak up any moisture in the air. Now I understand what they talk about when they say the humidity in FLA is bad everything feels wet, thats how things are here. everythng feels damp, ewwww....

Raining again. It is a cool 67, not bad for the last week of July.

Now, I know it was "Crazy Days" for sure as people stood out in the rain to hear if their number was called for cash prizes, and $500.00 VC bucks. It suppose to rain tomorrow. It was nice to have crazy days and the temps not really hot.

Joker, lol, it started snowing, lol, I know I live in a different part of town, but you kidding right, lol. I think if it snowed, lol, I was just too tired to notice, lol.

this past week has rained everyday for a half hour or so. Everything is so green! Drizzling now - of course its the weekend doing that.

Looks like it could rain once again. I know it was dry around here, but just one nice day to hang out laundry would be nice.

We finally got to the South Dakota August dog days. It is supposed to hit 100 with 20 mile an hour winds. Yuck.

Looks like more rain for today. We needed it. It is nice to see green grass.

It was cool today, and cool tonight. We roast one week, then we cool off, this is crazy. Okay, I like the cooler weather, but I don't know if I like this changing of the weather.

Cool! Send some of that this way, please! Its soooooo muggy here. I like hot, humid weather but this is tooooo much really.

It was in the 40's las tnight. I love it. Usually it's in the 100's this time of yerar.

Now its too cold! Its 70 degrees here and no humidity. so it feels chilly!

Its been about 10 degrees below the norm past week down here. Rained the past few days a bit - we needed it.
