| Maybe...There has been this lady who has been checking this place out for a few months now. The electrical has to be replaced. its the old knob and tube? is that right? We have the old screw in fuses, the wiring outside has to go, they said this place is a fire hazard. Nice! Yesterday they were here counting the windows and Monday is the termite inspection. So I wonder what this will hold in store for all of us? will we have to move out? Will she raise the rent? if she does I will have to go. $650 is my limit. I hardly have any money the way it is. But maybe she will have 'balls' unlike my current landlord and not put up with any crap from the riff raff. I feel sorry for the old lady that lives next door. The scum that live above her sit out on the front porch drinking and carrying on and her window is right there. And birds of a feather, so they attract all the other low lifes in town. She won't sit on her porch anymore. If we both could get rid of our upstairs neighbors... | |

| Maybe, I hope....its just getting worse. now they beg off my family when they come to visit. Its like feeding a stray cat or dog, give them a little and they'll keep coming back for more... | |

| well, she's LOWERING our rent, by $10. Because she will pay for heat up to 65 degrees, then she will put in baseboard heat and if we want it warmer we pay. If she puts in new storm windows maybe it won't be so bad. Had to sleep in the kitchen again last nite, he had the nite off. Now if she could do something about that....And thebum next door. Yestrday he tried to hit me up for coffee, not a cup, just a bit of coffee to make himself. My phone and $2. Gets to the point everyone avoids walking past him...heard he ripped off an Mennonite guy for a coffee the other day! He sitsthere, on the front porch from 7AM til 9-10 at nite, drinking beer...bums the beer from his brother who sort of has a job, the neighbor ripped him a new one telling him, Peggy won't come outside or answer her door because he begs of her! Sad! He's got to GO! | |

| all the new electric is in my apartment. now they are doing the rest. Heard the butt head upstairs was complaining, saying the electricians should work around HIS schedule. Um, dude, if they did that they would have to be here at 9PM and work all nite. He is such a self centered ass! | |

| Oh...sorta like Amish Paradise?
65 degrees is good. I turn mine off until about -20. Then the neighboring apartments just don't warm mine up enough. | |

| Oh geez! -20? hope you're exagerrating....I've had my heat on, did I tell you how the landlord 'fixed' the thermostats so the temp is set on 62 degrees....she put two plastic boxes around the controls so no one can turn them up! She installed electric baseboard heat in every room with seperate controls... | |

| she pays for the oil heat, we pay for the electricity. And because the windows and doors are so drafty a lot of heat is lost, so this was her way of saving money....for her. | |
