Yesterday was nasty. It was about 96 degrees and very humid. Now, it's about 55 degrees and not much humidity. I love it.

Today was close to 90 with super humidity! it was a muggy one today. But then a storm came thru and it rained a bit, wind picked up a LOT, now its 67!

The past few days it was in the 100's here. 101, 102 and in the 90's inside our shop at work. Hasn't rained in 4 weeks...today it RAINED! and now its 69 degrees...oh, it feels wonderful! but back in the 90's tomorrow. All th grass around here is brown. But I water my crazy tomato plant almost every morning and I've got lots of 'matoes!

Our rain is done, maybe a thunder shower but grass is still brown. And boy is it HOT! sunny

You can feel the heat starting to roll in again. Actually its the humidity that makes it so bad, tomorrow they say near 100 again! I'm headed to the mountains for the weekend after work tomorrow, ahhh, can't wait!

Darn, I was going to check out Aimee and the front page, lol, with the new website, hmmm, don't see a thing.
Aimee the secret for not getting your picture on the front page, lol, go hide in the bathroom until the nice reporter has left the building. Make sure that your boss is around so he gets into the paper, lol, and you are not the only person in the museum at the time the reporters show up. Darn, I got nailed by two of them in one day. One was story on how we spent money for a grant and one was the new exhibit that came in from the State. I know blame the State of ND, they wanted to get into the news.

We had a monster storm Friday night. 80 mile an hour winds and tons of rain and hail. Lightning that wouldn't quit. I drive 75 mile sin that stuff. I really thought the wind was goin gto turn my car over. But, I made it and the storm moved on....It was an adventure.

Grass went from yellow to brown and I guess the next color is dirt. Weeds aren't even growing.

We had that...but it recovered. we had another small dry spell but now its raining off and on, btter than nothing. i go out early in the morning and water my tomato plant and the grass out front, the grass in the back is mostly shaded so its not too bad.

Nasty hot and humid. Usually, SD Augusts are extremely hot, windy, and dry. This year, not too windy. very wet, hot and humid. Inspite of the extensive flooding, we are projected to have the second best corn harvest on record,

i was talking to an old-timer from town who said this year with the weather everyone is having bumper crops...I know I have tomatoes out the wazoo this year comared to last/ And they say apples and acorns are very abundant this year...and humid! whoo, I'll say, it feels like a rain forest here.

but at my mom's sunday morning it was 38 degrees!! Glad I had my sweatshirt and sweatpants this time!

Drier than a popcorn fart down here - nights are somewhat cooler but the ac is still running 24/7

same here, well sort of....I think it was warm on Friday and Saturday..don't get to spend alot of time outside now with all the OT...but I do love the money! Right now its rain and 73...

Like summer here..unfortuantely, the nice weather also brings out all the neighbors. I go outside, they go outside...I'm just not cut out for this close living town life. Got to find a way out of here!

wehad our first frost this morning but can you believe it, my tomato plant is still surviving! Got 4 tomatoes yesterday and 4 more today, I'm afraid though that it'll have to go this weekend, its getting too cold. and evetually the frost will get it, maybe its protected by the porch...
